Baby Gear

We've been keeping an eye out for sales on baby things and buying them as we see them that way we won't be buying everything in January. These are just a couple things we've bought so far at really great prices. I can't wait for a place to put everything and a baby to put in it.

Quilt

My friend had her baby shower this afternoon and I made her this quilt. It was my first time doing a real binding and it turned out really nice, it just took forever. The power was out at home so I had to go to Andrews parents house to finish it so I ended up staying up till 5 in the morning working on it and then woke up at 10 and worked on it till I left, but it was definitely worth it. These pictures were taken my cellphone but its all I had before I wrapped it up to give to her.

Martinsburg Air Show

My brother Mike and his family invited Andrew and I to the Martinsburg Air Show and since we have been trying to find fun things to do before the baby's born that will fit into our crazy work schedules we decided to go. It was very hot and sunny, you could hardly see the airplanes but it was still fun.

We bought some fresh kettle corn and Aiden almost devoured the whole himself.

21 Weeks

We had an ultrasound done on monday! We were given the opportunity to find out the gender but we turned it down. So we are definitely going to make it a suprise!!! Its exciting not knowing and guessing differently everyday. The baby has been kicking alot. We felt the baby kick for the first time last tuesday. It was sooo exciting especially since Andrew was able to feel it too.

My belly is getting so big so fast.

New Truck

Andrew and I bought a new truck yesterday. It was perfect timing cause my alternator went out Friday night in the blazer. It' s a 2010 Ford Explorer. Both of our cars are from 1996 so its fun to have all the new features that the explorer offers. We upgraded from a cassette player to a CD player and Sirius radio that tells you the song title and artist with controls on the steering wheel. It has wonderful heat and airconditioning unlike the blazer that has neither. It also has 3rd row seating so we have plenty of space for our growing family! One of my favorite features besides the airconditioning is that when someone calls me while driving all I have to do is push a button on the steering wheel and I can hear and talk through the speakers in the car. We are going to the farm next month to test out the four wheel drive although Dad says we wont need it anymore.

I'M ALMOST HALF WAY DONE MY PREGNANCY!!!!!!!

We're having a BABY!!!!

We found out on May 10th that we are going to having a baby! We couldn't be more excited! The due date is January 13th which is only 12 days before Andrew leaves for basic training. The ultra sound we have right now was taken at 9 weeks. The picture doesn't show much but the video did. We were able to see the heart beating and the baby moving like crazy. We are so excited to becoming a real family!
